Stair lift Q&A
How fast can a stair lift go in?
Straight stair lifts can usually be installed within two to five business days of the home assessment. Curved stair lifts are custom-fabricated and typically arrive in three to five weeks. We coordinate timing with discharge planners when the install is post-hospital.
Do stair lifts damage the stair rail or carpet?
The lift mounts to the stair treads, not the wall or the bannister. Properly installed lifts leave the existing bannister and carpet intact. When the lift is removed years later, only small mounting holes remain on the treads.
Is renting a stair lift an option?
Yes, for straight stair lifts. We offer rental for short-term needs (post-discharge recovery, temporary mobility issues, or aging-in-place trials before a permanent purchase). Rentals come with the same install and warranty as a purchased unit.
