How fast can a ramp be installed after a hospital discharge?
Modular aluminum ramps usually go in within 48 hours of the call. Custom wood ramps take three to five business days to fabricate and install. We coordinate directly with hospital discharge planners when the timing is critical.
What slope is required?
ADA-recommended slope is 1:12, meaning one foot of ramp for every inch of vertical rise. We size every ramp to that standard. A typical Central Florida porch with a 24-inch rise needs 24 feet of ramp, including the landing.
Are your ramps hurricane-rated?
Yes. Every exterior ramp we install in Central Florida is rated for hurricane wind loads. Aluminum modular ramps use anchored mounting; wood ramps use pressure-treated lumber with stainless-steel hardware suited to Florida humidity.
